The job for the weekend was to continue construction of a cyclepath around the new new Aylestone Park which itself is bounded by the canal.
We had a small fleet of dumpers and excavators at our disposal, the first task was to lay fine stone onto previously placed stone ...
... and for moose to compact, sometimes using a roller!

The path isn't exactly straight!!

Saturday evenings meal was provided by a local chip shop free of charge.
Sunday saw us continuing with the path ...
... with a few distractions, well it was muddy.
Another task was clearance of the towpath at the bottom end of the park...
... whilst another gang excavated and stoned up a new section of path.
One of the last jobs was to clean plastic sheeting from the axles of the dumpers!
